Safety

Wavy is not for navigation or safety-of-life decisions. Verify conditions with official sources before heading out. For an emergency on the water, contact the local rescue authority. Wavy cannot place that call for you.

Location

The “Near me” ranking uses one foreground location fix. Wavy does not upload that fix and does not keep a location history. You can deny the permission and still pick a harbor yourself.

Remote alerts and deletion

Remote alerts are not a production service yet. If a build has registered this install, Settings can delete that server record. The installation id shown there is the lookup key. Email cannot be matched on its own, because Wavy does not collect your email. If you still have the installation id after removing the app, include it in a message to support. Details are on the privacy page.

Wavy+

There is nothing to buy yet. No price or trial is published. When a subscription exists, Apple charges your Apple ID, and you manage it in your Apple ID subscriptions. Restore purchases from Settings in the app. Terms for that future purchase are on the terms page.

iCloud

Private sync is not advertised as available. If it is on for your install, favorites, boats, pairings, and preferences stay in your iCloud account, not on Wavy’s servers.

Cameras and forecasts

A missing camera or a stale buoy reading means the source did not provide a fresh image or observation. Official NWS marine products remain the forecast of record. Wavy does not claim government endorsement.
